What started as a simple idea was brought to life thanks to the City of Tracy, a local brewery, and a team of great people who worked together to make this happen.

The idea? Showcase the City of Tracy and Boxcar Days, our own small town festival, with a fresh way to represent who we are and the history of this city on nothing other than a bottle of beer.

Taking this to Brau Brothers Brewing Co., a craft brewery located in Marshall, Minnesota, was the obvious choice. We wanted to keep this project within our community and they were more than willing to collaborate with us on this!

 

Since the City of Tracy started as a railroad city, it was clear which direction to go when working with a local designer, April DeSchepper, for the label.

The bottling process began and soon enough, we had the Boxcar Brew Private Label in-hand and ready to sell. And here we are!
